Thought it was going to storm so dressed warm and wore pants. No storm VA traffic bad but not too slow due to overcast (no sun glare) Baltimore traffic not bad either Took 83 At York, got bike oil and chili at HD plant. Tried to get to bike shop but had to call again because I couldn't remember where I was supposed to get off on the road. Turns out it was the Memory Road exit 81 ok 80 went to NJ Turnpike. A bit farther south than I expected. Took Cross Bronx Expressway; at 4pm Got gas, 3.19 per gallon. Two crazy black guys Called Ed at second rest stop (missed first one) Got there at about 7pm. Talked with Ed until after midnight.
