Rockville Virginia back to Rockville Virginia
I headed up to visit the guys at NASA. First I hit the WOC building. The amusing part is the amount of lost weight threw several folks. A few walked by without recognizing me :) It was cool to be able to talk to everyone again though. Several folks asked if I was coming back.
I initially talked with Karen, Jay Moore and Kevin then chatted with others as they walked around. Afterwards I walked around to talk with others. I found Dave Whitestone, who's retiring this year. I spoke to Keith Winters and found Tom Shubert. Generally I walked through the U and briefly chatted.
Next I headed over to NASA to talk to the guys downstairs. There were a couple of folks that I specifically wanted to talk to, Jeff Stephens, Mike Ayala, Toy Epps, and various others. I chatted with a few folks, Jeff wanted me to take over :) Toy asked about my weight and I said, with a straight face, that I had cancer and only had 6 months to live. Her face fell about as far as it could before we all broke up in laughter.
next I went over to ops and chatted with Bill for a few minutes. Then I headed over to the soc to chat with the unix and nt guys. Back over to Bill for another chat. I headed back over to the help desk and chatted with Kim and then back to find Mike. I found Mike and we chatted for a few minutes as well.
I went upstairs to find Michele O'Connell but she was in a meeting. I chatted with Jeff, Andi and others in the area. I found that she was over in the WOC. So I went over to find her but she was in between meetings. We chatted for a few seconds but she had to run. I went upstairs and chatted with some other folks including Kevin's Dad.
I wasn't able to get out of NASA on time so I wasn't able to stop by Jasmine's to pick up the CDs. I called her to let her know then headed on down to Erich's. I wanted to spend some time with his family as well.
