Jackson Tennessee to Rockville Virginia

726 Miles
Left at 7:30, alarm didn't go off. Still learning how to use the cell phone.
Went to ihop for breakfast.
When I crossed into VA, I saw a guy on a bike in the right shoulder. I pulled over to see if I could help. He
rode up to me then took off into traffic.
Lots of cops in TN so speed was kept reasonable.
When I crossed into VA, I found even more cops. Busy busy. Spotted a cop on the right shoulder. Of course people
watch in the mirror then when you can't see him again, step on the gas. At the time I was keeping my speed at the
limit checking out the possible MPG. After you didn't see the cop there was another one sitting in the median
and facing in our direction. Hah! Missed me :)
I stopped at an Exxon to take a break and hit the bathroom. This was in Waynesboro. I'd been running at better than
50mpg since the last gas stop (51.87 technically).
After I gassed up at exit 10 or so (getting off at exit 7), I pulled back out and was promptly harassed by the
locals. Two cars camped in the left lane with another one in the right. They wanted to race :) No way. It's dark
and I didn't want to get in trouble. As soon as I got an opening, I hit it to get away and promptly lost them
in the distance. Nice to have a fast bike :) I got off at the correct exit and headed over to my brother's where
I was to stay for the next three nights.
I got there at 8:45 and had Salmon, potatoes, tomatoes and cucumbers. It was pretty tasty. My brother experiments
a bit with food. For dessert I had some ice cream (coconut chocolate chip), pretty good.
